We are excited to host the Prediction and Prevention in Crohn’s Disease Workshop on April 30th and May 1st, 2025, at the Leon and Norma Hess Center for Science and Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Our team believes that your research and work in rheumatology can help to illuminate and enhance the conversation of predicting and intercepting Crohn’s Disease.
This two-day workshop will be a mix of panel discussions and breakout sessions. Topics will highlight the novel work on pre-disease biomarkers of Crohn’s disease and build upon the Consortium’s goal by helping to place Crohn’s disease interception into the context of current research across international pre-disease cohorts and strategies in diagnosis and treatment. It will also include keynote lectures from Carla Greenbaum, MD, Director, Benaroya Research Institute, Salomé Pinho, PhD, Group Leader of Immunology, Cancer and GlycoMedicine, i3S at the University of Porto and Gilaad Kaplan, MD, MPH, Professor at the University of Calgary and Chair of the Scientific and Medical Advisory Counsel of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
